Gotas del Sol
Each bowl or platter is made of hundreds of tiny pieces of crushed glass (frit). I imagine them as sundrops frozen in time.
Look at each bowl or platter from a different angle, move it around. As the light changes, so too does the intensity of color, the way the glass transmits light, the colors it reflects. I enjoy the endless combination of colors, textures, and designs, the spontaneity, and the playful, irregular edges. From about 5" to 16" for $35–$350.
